THE ROLE

Seedly: You will join our newly set up commercial team and be in charge of identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities within assigned industry sectors to achieve ambitious growth and sales goals. This person must be adept at selling our core business solutions of market research and media advertising solutions and be capable of aligning these products to meet the marketing and business objectives of all of our Banking & Finance Institute clients. The ideal type of person must be highly driven, hungry, finds satisfaction in seeing projects from start-to-finish and willing to work in a high functioning Start-up environment that values teamwork and creativity.

Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes with members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy, internal and external auditors and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by Hyphen Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on Hyphen Group’s behalf.

Hyphen Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to the us during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.

YOUR TASK

  • Proactive in identifying new business development opportunities and key areas of market research and media advertising growth to support the attainment of the quarterly financial targets as well as our full year financial goals
  • People-oriented to initiate, manage, develop relationships with direct clients & brands and Interact directly and build working relationships with media agencies and digital agencies
  • Build, track and manage an active sales pipeline to achieve quarterly sales targets and build a broad base of repeat clients.
  • Regular update of sales activity, pipelines and acheivement using CRM
  • Manage the sales process of every project to a successful conclusion from the beginning till the end

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Banking and Finance, or related fields
  • 2-5 years’ experience in Sales or Business Development positions in a B2B setting
  • Good knowledge and interest in the field of personal finance, including banking & finance, cryptos, insurance, investment and such. Added bonus if you are already an active Seedly.sg user. 
  • A successful track record in Sales including business development, ideally within a consultative environment or media advertising environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, strong presentation skill (Story-teller) and bonus if you have strong public speaking skills
  • High energy, self motivation, passion about working in a fast paced environment that is constantly evolving
  • Be a proactive and motivated 'go getter' who thrives in a sales and fast growing environment
  • Experience in the online marketing Research industry, or an understanding of the digital advertising industry. Bonus if you know both industries.
  • Strong interpersonal and social skill
