We are a purpose-driven, fast-paced organization looking for an innovative, data-obsessed, collaborative and results-driven leader to join our Group Marketing team in Hong Kong as a Head of Marketing Technology & Platforms.

 

In this role you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will have the opportunity to lead a cross-functional team.  You will develop and execute Hyphen Group’s martech strategy and be responsible for ensuring this brings meaningful value to our consumer brands (e.g. MoneyHero, SingSaver, etc.).  You will be the business owner of our growth marketing platforms (Content Management System, Digital Asset Management System, Campaign Management, Email, Personalization Engine, etc.). You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders across functions including group and brand marketing, technology, product and sales.  You will be expected to think and act as a business lead - understanding how our marketing technology and initiatives support the organization’s overall business objectives.

Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by Hyphen Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on Hyphen Group’s behalf.

Hyphen Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the strategic vision for how marketing technology platforms can deliver business value to Hyphen Group - both from an internal perspective (e.g. leveraging technology solutions and tools to reduce/eliminate manual processes and enhance data insights for business decisions) and for our users (e.g. enabling personalized content throughout the user journey)
  • Act as the business owner (P&L responsibility, team management, feature roadmap) for Hyphen Group’s marketing technology platforms (including but not limited to Content Management System, Digital Asset Management System, Campaign Management, Email, Personalization Engine, etc.)
  • Ensure there is clear and effective communication on the platform strategy and delivery including its roadmap, documentation of requirements, updates on progress to milestones for senior stakeholders and platform users, etc.
  • Lead a cross-functional team to support the development and maintenance of our marketing platforms (your team will include both direct and indirect reports from our technology, product, project management teams)
  • Partner with other marketing functional leads (performance marketing, SEO, lifecycle marketing, marketing analytics, etc.) to deliver omnichannel business capabilities to meet the needs our marketing organization
  • Act as an advocate for our local marketing teams across the organization to ensure their pain points and strategies for growth are supported by the marketing platforms and tools deployed at a central level and ensure adoption / usage of these platforms
  • Develop use cases / requirements for our marketing platforms and translate them into technical requirements and ultimately delivery and optimization.  This requires strong engagement and partnership with our technology teams
  • Act as the Martech and Marketing Automation SME in the organization and educate/advocate internal audiences to understand the possibilities of how marketing technology can enable growth for the business
  • Stay up to date and passionate about the latest digital tech stack and marketing automation platforms in the industry as to support a best-in-class strategy for new features, capabilities and integrations of our platforms



YOUR QUALIFICATIONS - MUST HAVES

  • 10+ years experience in digital marketing technology strategy development and project execution
  • 5+ years people management experience
  • Subject matter expert in understanding how marketing platforms support omnichannel, multichannel and digital strategy
  • Deep, hands-on and technical understanding of various digital marketing technologies (Content Management System, Digital Asset Management System, Campaign Management, Email, Personalization Engine, etc.)
  • Able to translate a strategic business vision into a tactical, technology solution
  • Love working across functions and creating virtual teams to deliver results to solve a business challenge
  • Solutions-oriented mindset and able to solve problems in a dynamic environment where ambiguity exists
  • Experience working with and selecting marketing technology vendors / agencies
  • Able to work with stakeholders of different levels, from working level to C-level, to effectively communicate best practices, results and strategic direction
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
