Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by Hyphen Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on Hyphen Group’s behalf.

Hyphen Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

What you will be doing

We are developing an affiliate connect SaaS application called eKos, that will connect banks, trading platforms and financial institutions with thousands of influences and content creators.
In your day to day work with us you will be our Platform Engineer / Integration Lead:

  • Take ownership of all project platform and integration aspects
  • Build out our Kubernetes clusters that need to scale out to support 10 000+ requests per second.
  • Build and maintain our AWS infrastructure from ground up
  • Build out self service capabilities using Terraform and Teleport
  • Iterate and improve config and secret management strategies.
  • Create a pattern that allows for environments to be spun up on demand.
  • Comfortable writing utilities using Java, Kotlin, python and/or bash
  • Continuously suggest improvements to our ways of working, platform, tech stack and products
  • Automate everything that can be automated
  • Share your knowledge with the team and mentor people around you
  • Work in a proactive and innovative way to meet milestones and deadlines
  • Working alongside great system engineers, site reliability engineers and platform engineers
  • Engage with the wider engineering organization, making sure your tech roadmap aligns with the other teams
  • Work with product owners, developers, managers and business stakeholders to define the product and tech roadmaps

Your skills

Required:

  • Ability and willingness to learn new things fast
  • Awesome cloud and AWS fundamentals and hands on skills
  • Very good understanding of DevOps principles
  • Great Docker and Kubernetes skills
  • Able to read and write Terraform
  • Knowledge of Teleport
  • Good understanding of gitOps
  • Good scripting skills in either Python or bash
  • Elementary programming skills in either Java, Kotlin, Typescript or Javascript 
  • Understanding of agile team work
  • Understanding of software development work
  • Ability to balance security with delivery 
  • Deep understanding of config and secrets management
  • Understanding of git branching and merging strategies
  • Understanding of how to create platform and services observability

Preferred:

  • Experience in working with event driven platforms
  • Understanding of product life cycles
