THE ROLE

We are looking for a data passionate Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager who can identify, research and present growth opportunities for SingSaver by gathering consumer insights and modeling internal data sets enabling smarter decision making. 

The ideal team member should be able to use a broad set of analytical tools and techniques to develop quantitative and qualitative business insights. This role works collaboratively with stakeholders across Marketing, Commercial and Finance teams, and is focussed on tracking business performance and delivering insights to inform business strategy, maximize results and optimize investment. This role is great for an individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving setting.

Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by Hyphen Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on Hyphen Group’s behalf.

Hyphen Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

YOUR TASK

  • Develop a deep understanding of what drives growth and efficiency for the business, identify key metrics that align with business drivers, set team goals, and track progress. Accountable for operating with a sense of urgency. Deliver timely reporting on the KPIs for SingSaver business
  • Develop frameworks to analyse business problems, develop hypotheses, mine data, deliver recommendations, and assess impact of proposed solutions. 
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, Product and Finance to understand and anticipate their current and future objectives and data requirements. 
  • Build business cases and financial models by developing assumptions and projections based on internal data, the macro environment, latest trends, and industry practices.
  • Lead the process for gathering market intelligence about our target audience, competitors and industry landscape. Translate research findings into key insights to identify business opportunities and improve the overall customer experience. This includes managing research agencies.
  • Manage a team of 1-2 individuals.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years experience in analytics, BI, consulting, or other quantitative positions
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce is a plus
  • Good understanding of financial modelling and accounting principles
  • Experience with digital advertising measurement methods with proficiency in using marketing automation tools, including Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, DCM, Google Adwords, Facebook Analytics, Social Media listening tools 
  • Excellent business acumen with data-driven approach with good working knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research
  • Broad knowledge of key research methodologies, e.g. marketing effectiveness, market sizing, customer experience, brand health tracking, etc.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data-sets, statistical software such as R, SPSS, SAS as well as data extraction, analysis, and scripting tools such as Hive/SQL/Python is good to have
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel 
  • Strong communication skills in collaborating with diverse, multi-functional teams
  • Capabilities in project management, able to deliver quality projects within timelines
