THE ROLE

Reporting into the General Manager for MoneyHero, you will own the product roadmap and be responsible for product launches for MoneyHero. You will work closely with MoneyHero’s marketing and commercial teams to develop product roadmap and collaborate with the regional Product and Engineering team to help build products that empower users to build healthier financial lives. You will be the key driver in utilizing complex market research and product development acumen to make a launch successful. You will have the unique opportunity to work with rich datasets and drive insights to inform what we build and where we should expand next.

Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes with members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy, internal and external auditors and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by Hyphen Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on Hyphen Group’s behalf.

Hyphen Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to the us during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.

YOUR TASKS

Product Owner and Expert

  • Partner with the MoneyHero marketing and commercial teams to develop
    • i) the product roadmap aligned to business objectives
    • ii) prioritized build list and timelines
  • Collaborate with regional product, marketing, technology, and operation teams to oversee timely product development and implementation in line with the roadmap and prioritized build list.
  • Identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency through data analytics, process improvements etc.
  • Be the user champion and user-focused at the core - use everything from user interviews to analytics and A/B experimentation

Key Influencer

  • Provide thought leadership in internal and external partner discussion regarding opportunities for our solution and services
  • Clearly communicate and evangelize the product, insights, data and results
  • Collaborate and communicate – distill the wider vision and strategy for teams to embrace and internalize

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years in product management / project management delivering products from ideation through launch and optimization/iteration
  • Preferred industry background: Finance Institution (i.e. Banking, Insurance), Consulting, E-commerce
  • Strong track record of applying quantitative analysis to see beyond the numbers, generate actionable insights and drive the adoption of proposed changes in Product by influencing stakeholders.
  • Autonomy and maturity to navigate through and work in a matrix organization, with cross discipline teams located in various overseas offices
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively problem solve.
  • Flair and passion for great story-telling that combines creativity with data
  • Growth mindset paired with proactive and action-oriented approach to difficulties
  • Skillful, effective communicator who is not afraid to challenge the status quo 
  • Innovator who is set to solve the hardest problems
  • Drive to create state-of-the-art user experience
  • Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese and English
  • Knowledge with financial products (i.e., cards/loan/insurance, etc.), and Open Banking API, TSP landscape is highly desirable, but not required
