THE ROLE

SingSaver is a purpose-driven, fast-paced organisation looking for a passionate, collaborative, creative and results-driven leader to join as our Head of Growth.

In this role you will have the opportunity to lead a sizable team of 15+ high performing marketers.  You will be responsible for driving business results, such as revenue and profit, while being expected to think and act as a business lead. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders across functions including group marketing as well as content marketing, product and business development teams.  

Our ideal candidate possesses strong acquisition and lifecycle marketing experience, commercial acumen, leadership skills and a growth mindset.

This role reports to the Marketing Director for SingSaver.

Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes with members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy, internal and external auditors and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by Hyphen Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on Hyphen Group’s behalf.

Hyphen Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to the us during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute SingSaver’s growth marketing strategy including the setting, measurement and achievement of aggressive goals / KPIs aligned with the overall business objectives for the market
  • Lead the growth marketing team, including managing overall team communication and engagement, goal setting, coaching, career development planning, scaling / growing the team and recruitment / hiring as needed
  • Creating and implementing the marketing plan in line with overall business objectives while striking a balance between longer-term strategic activities and short-term lead generation and nurturing to achieve targets
  • Using data and analytics for decision making and measuring marketing effectiveness as well as creating a culture of structured experimentation and iteration to drive growth
  • Be the key decision maker across performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, full funnel media spend, brand building, PR, product marketing, customer service and operations, whilst also leading business analytics
  • Be an integral member of the SingSaver leadership team - responsible for co-owning the brand level P&L, setting strategic direction, supporting partner relationships and leading by example to create a collaborative culture which leverages the strengths of the entire team
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional (product and business development) and HQ (marketing, engineering and product) teams to achieve shared business goals
  • Stay up to date and educate the organisation on best practice growth marketing

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of generalist marketing experience; including strong digital marketing and start-up experience 
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, including management of teams 
  • Previous experience managing a P&L and strong commercial acumen
  • Track record of exceeding aggressive growth targets 
  • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills. Comfortable communicating business ideas and strategy to C-level management
  • Experience in personal finance industry and operations would be an advantage
