Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes with members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy, internal and external auditors and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by Hyphen Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on Hyphen Group’s behalf.

Hyphen Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to the us during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.

THE ROLE
We are looking for a creative social media expert to join our in-house content team. The person we are looking for should be passionate about digital media and always strive to produce high quality, data-driven content. This role will be reporting to the Content Lead.
 
YOUR TASK
  • Take ownership of all social media channels, from content planning through to execution and optimisation.
  • Work with the team to understand the brief, target audience, customer insights and experiences to ensure delivery of innovative and relevant content.
  • Be across the latest trends, pop-culture and everything that is happening on social media, with the capacity to rapidly pivot and adjust plans in response.
  • Leverage learnings and best practice to ensure content is optimised for performance.
  • Collaborate with the content team to generate original ideas and messaging concepts, whilst having a natural eye for design.
  • Analyse brand tracking data, market trends, consumer needs and the competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement social media guidelines.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in social media (agency experience preferred). Start-up experience would be a bonus.
  • Ability to create and manage best in class, data-driven social media content.
  • Understanding of social media best practice across all channels, with hands-on experience managing social media platforms.
  • Outstanding command of the English language and interest in Malaysia personal finance market.
  • Creative thinker who can translate strategic and marketing objectives into copy.
  • Obsession with pop culture and current user trends, including up and coming social media channels.
  • Fluency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and social media monitoring.
  • Confident in creating copy for different marketing channels and strong interest in brand development.
  • Experience with email marketing would be a plus.
