THE ROLE

This is a marketing leadership role with a broad remit of overseeing both brand and marketing management programs that deliver business results for Hong Kong’s largest personal finance platform. 

This role will have direct impact on the top and bottom-lines as you will be responsible for driving the execution and activation of the brand across products, customer segments and stages of the customer journey. and lead the Advertising and Promotions  team responsible for execution. You will have tremendous opportunity and flexibility to work with a wide range of functions including content, SEO, performance marketing, CRM, analytics, design, commercial, product, technology and customer services.  You will be expected to think and act as a business lead - understanding how our brand and marketing initiatives support the organization’s overall business objectives.

Our ideal candidate is comfortable shifting between developing high level strategy, helping the team grow and getting things done.  With your hands-on experience in marketing management, penchant for lateral thinking and problem solving, cross-functional collaboration skills, leadership experience and a personal ambition to nurture a high performance culture, you will play a key role in the MoneyHero marketing organization.

Hyphen Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand Management and Communications

  • Build brand equity for MoneyHero as a trusted financial wellness companion through a top-notch brand communications strategy across primarily owned and earned channels.
  • Own the development and communication of business cases for all brand building initiatives.
  • Set objectives and measurable key results for brand management activities. Responsible for achievement of these KPIs through strong execution and delivery.
  • Develop brand communication guidelines and be accountable for brand governance across all channels, including affiliate partners.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, content and customer service teams to ensure consistency of brand experience and messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Manage the process for gathering market intelligence about our target audience, competitors and industry landscape.
  • Own the development and roll-out of standardized reporting frameworks tools to assess brand and performance. 
  • Manage and direct agency partners to achieve objectives. 
  • Propose and lead strategic projects related to brand and marketing management.
  • Set and monitor annual marketing strategies for brand building, product launches and market positioning.

Marketing Strategy and Management 

  • Manage and control monthly demand generation and brand marketing budgets, including budgets for 3rd party tools and agencies.
  • Lead product launches and product marketing strategies to build awareness and reinforce MoneyHero’s category leadership
  • Provide direction on campaign strategies such as positioning and messaging to the Acquisition team to ensure promotional campaigns achieve top and bottom-line targets.  
  • Maintain a pulse on marketplace trends to ensure our marketing activities remain relevant to the consumer and we are constantly improving return on marketing investments.  
  • Develop and own the continual optimization of cross-functional campaign management workflows (across planning, execution, analyses) to establish a best-in-class campaign management function 
  • Collaborate closely with Product teams to develop capabilities that enhance our brand and marketing prowess. 

People Leadership

  • Lead and grow a team comprising social media, media planning and advertising & promotions specialists. 
  • Contribute to the overall growth of the marketing organization to become the best marketing team in fintech.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of crafting multi-channel brand communication and marketing strategies with hands-on experience in campaign direction and management
  • Flair and passion for great story-telling that combines creativity with data 
  • Ability to balance brand purpose with performance marketing
  • Track record of managing and motivating a team to set and exceed growth targets   
  • Strong workflow management skills to create processes and systems that improve efficiencies within an organization
  • Sharp business acumen to prioritize initiatives for maximum impact
  • Google Analytics savvy, numbers and results-oriented 
  • Skillful communicator in spoken and written Cantonese and English who is not afraid to challenge the status quo 
  • Fast learner who thrives on continuous learning and taking on new challenges
  • Interest in money management and personal finance
